The new Strand Hotel Swakopmund, Namibia, will open officially on Friday, October 9.
The hotel has 125 rooms and suites, a conference and banqueting centre, three restaurants, bars, sea-facing terraces, lobby lounge, beer garden and beach kiosk with its own private pavilion on the beach.
Activities in Swakopmund include skydiving, bird-watching day trips, fishing excursions, quad biking, sand boarding, sightseeing and town tours.
