Timetable changes for Air Botswana

AIR Botswana has decided to introduce a new timetable based on “the three aircraft that we know are operational”, according to Philip Nkokou, commercial manager for the airline. Two of Air Botswana’s aircraft are currently undergoing repairs, and a third is undergoing scheduled maintenance. The Maun/Cape Town service is being reduced from three a week, to twice-weekly and will now operate in both directions on the same day, Friday and Sunday. On the old schedule, the route was operated on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday out of Maun to Cape Town and the return flights departed the next morning. In addition, the direct service between Johannesburg and Kasane has been suspended. Sue Lewitton (suel@nowmedia.co.za)
