The number of job postings on Tourism Update’s jobs page has more than tripled in the last month.
In the past 30 days, 59 jobs have been listed, compared with 19 in the previous 30-day period.
The high number of postings comes in the context of increased tourism arrivals to South Africa and also follows on from positive sentiment after the recent local government elections.
The most common position advertised is a tour consultant, which made up 61% of all vacancies over the past month.
