We Are Africa kicks off in Cape Town

The 10th edition of We Are Africa started in Cape Town this week, bringing together the “tribe” of high-end travel brands and international buyers.

The event opened with an Open House session at Zeitz MOCAA at the V&A Waterfront. Attendees engaged with keynote speakers and participated in panel discussions tackling some of the most urgent and relevant issues facing African tourism today – from sustainability metrics to community empowerment, innovation and storytelling. The opening day concluded with a networking dinner at Time Out Market.

Next, the official show commenced at DHL Stadium where delegates filled the floor with back-to-back pre-scheduled meetings.
