Wilderness Safaris upgrades camps

LITTLE Vumbura and Savuti Camp, both part of Wilderness Safaris Botswana camps, are being revamped. Little Vumbura in the Okavango has been demolished and the entire camp will be rebuilt and reopened at the end of March. The new camp will have six larger tents, one being a family unit, with a focus on better lighting, privacy and comfort. The dining, lounge and pool areas are also being enlarged. The Savuti Camp in Linyati is being redesigned and each of the seven tents are being rebuilt. The aim of the new design is to place greater emphasis on the views of the Savuti Channel. The camp is due to reopen in mid-March. Tessa Blane (tessab@nowmedia.co.za)
