Khayelitshe House, in the Matobo Hills, just outside the boundary of the national park in Zimbabwe, is now open for bookings.
The off-the-grid house is enclosed by balancing rocks and surrounded by a natural amphitheatre of large boulders. Khayelitshe House was originally designed as a weekend escape for professional guide, Beks Ndlovu, and his family.
The environmentally friendly house, fully serviced with a private chef and staff, consists of four en-suite bedrooms with views from every window.
The private land around Khayelitshe covers around 488 hectares of wilderness.
The area has panoramic views of distant Matobo landmarks, such as Mount Efifi, Rhodes’ Grave, Inungu, Silozwane Cave and Mbambata Caves.
