Airlink has said that its flight will operate as normal tomorrow (October 16) after a new remuneration agreement was reached with the SA Transport & Allied Workers Union (SATAWU), resulting in them calling off their strike.
On Friday (October 13) Airlink issued an alert stating that flights may have been affected should some of its cabin crew members have gone on strike Monday (October 16). This followed receipt of a notice to strike from cabin crew belonging to the SATAWU after having rejected Airlink’s previous pay increase offer.
