The Birchwood Hotel and OR Tambo Conference Centre is aiming to complete the refurbishment of its ValuStay product by December this year.
Greg Hoffmann, Marketing Manager at The Birchwood told Tourism Update the renovations, which were first announced last year, would begin later this month. “We put a mock-up room together just to get a feel for the colour scheme and that has now been completed, so we are ready for renovations to begin in the next few weeks,” he said.
The hotel will refurbish 30 rooms at a time. “We don’t have a set date of completion as yet, but we expect that by the time the new year starts, the fully revamped Valustay@Birchwood will be good to go,” he said.
