Peermont Mondior Gaborone has just completed a refurbishment.
“We refurbished all 67 rooms: five two-bedroom suites, 27 one-bedroom suites, one special assisted room and 34 standard studio rooms,” said Antoinette Starke, Operations Manager.
The rooms are now beige, light grey and green. Additionally, all softs were changed and new room pictures installed. A full-length mirror and specially adapted bedside reading lamps and dedicated work station with free high-speed Internet have also been installed. “The main focal point was the design and hanging of a framed collage of hand-crafted baskets made in Botswana,” added Starke.
Ted Soutter, General Manager, said: “Our rooms have been redesigned accordingly with sleek, modern lines and a tranquil colour scheme – the ideal spot to unwind after a plane trip, an adventure into the famous wildlife areas or after a day of meetings, not to mention a convenient space to catch up on work, especially with the seamless Internet capability.”
Internal gardens also received a facelift and the swimming pool was refurbished.
The hotel also offers conferencing facilities that take up to 45 delegates.
