The David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa at the Victoria Falls in Livingstone, Zambia, will see the addition of a 192-seat conference centre later this year.
“We start laying foundation followed by construction in the first week in February and completion is set for the end of June,” said Operations Manager, Keith Rissik.
The centre will be located adjacent to the entrance from the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, within two minutes’ walk of the main lodge. It would measure 12 metres by 20 metres and feature its own entrance and arrival portal, said Rissik. He added that the plans included rest rooms and a fully functional kitchen.
The facility will accommodate 192 people in banquet set up, 138 in convention seating and 260 people in cinema style.
