EIKENDAL Vineyards, located between Stellenbosch and Somerset West in the Western Cape, has introduced fly fishing tutorials for visitors who would like to learn more about the sport.
The tutorials are carried out by professional Western Province fly fishing champions and include lessons on fly selection, casting technique and personalised step-by-step guidance for reeling in the first catch. Eikendal also features a fully equipped fly fishing store.
The programme is run by the Flywaters crew daily between 08h00 and sunset and is available to visitors of all ages. Flywaters also provides fly fishing safaris to other suitable spots in the Western Cape.
