South African regional airline, Fly Blue Crane, and First Car Rental have announced an airline/car hire partnership effective immediately.
“This partnership for First Car Rental means we will be able to reach a captive, premium audience of predominantly corporate customers in a targeted region. First Car Rental has a strong operational presence and an established customer base in Bloemfontein and Kimberley, which will now also be shared with Fly Blue Crane,” says Melissa Storey, Executive Head: strategy, Development and Marketing for First Car Rental.
In the coming months, the airline plans to expand its route map to Namibia and Mozambique, potentially followed by destinations in Botswana, Zimbabwe and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
