Jack’s Camp in Botswana will start offering helicopter flights in 2018.
From next year, a helicopter will be permanently based at the camp, while offering will also be available for Unchartered Africa’s other Makgadikgadi camps.
Unchartered Africa will offer a variety of flight options, ranging from a 20 minute scenic flight over the pans, to a 90 minute flight to Kubu Island. During the green season guests will be able to get an aerial view of the migration, as the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans fill with zebra, springbok, oryx, red hartebeest and the various predators. During the dry season guests will fly over the lunaresque landscape of the salt pans.
The helicopter can accommodate three guests at a time.
