Four lodges within Kapama Private Game Reserve in Limpopo have introduced a conservation levy, effective on all new bookings made from December 1 for travel from March 1, 2017.
Kapama River Lodge, Kapama Southern Camp, Kapama Buffalo Camp and Kapama Karula will charge a conservation levy of R100 per person per night (excluding VAT) added to the accommodation invoice. The conservation levy will be used exclusively to fund the anti-poaching efforts within Kapama and the surrounding area.
