SIBAYA Lodge in Umhlanga, KwaZulu Natal, part of Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom, officially opens on October 16. The hotel has 118 rooms, each with sea or garden views and offers easy access to Sibaya’s entertainment facilities, including the casino and a new spa. “With the lodge it is envisaged that Sibaya will be able to offer accommodation to a broader spectrum of the gaming market as well as target specific markets such as corporate groups, conferencing and the leisure market in season,” says Melville Vogel, gm of Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom. He said Sun International’s marketing and reservations teams are well positioned to market the property to local and international leisure travellers, as well as the inbound incentive market.
