Lufthansa will launch new direct flights between Frankfurt and Addis Ababa, effective October 28.
On March 21 the German airline announced that it would split its current Frankfurt-Jeddah-Addis Ababa route at the launch of its winter 2018/2019 schedule.
The new direct Frankfurt-Addis Ababa service will cut the flight time to about seven hours. LH598 will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, using an Airbus A340-300
Flight times are as follows:
- LH598: Depart Frankfurt 14h10, arrive Addis Ababa 22h55.
- LH599: Depart Addis Ababa 00h55, arrive Frankfurt 06h35.
