Every person who has ever flown always hopes that the seats next to them will be empty. More space, no awkward conversations and the list can go on.
Jessie Char thought she had won the traveller lottery when she saw her seat on her trip from Long Beach, California, to San Francisco – she had the whole row to herself! But then, the nightmare began.
A few minutes into the flight Jessie heard an armrest fall down. Looking over, she thought that a hinge was loose. Nope, no loose hinge. Rather a bare foot emerged from the seat behind her, closely followed by the second.
If that wasn’t bad enough, the feet wiggled and moved around, and at one stage the left foot reached over and opened and closed the blind on Jessie’s window! You don’t do that, especially not with your foot!
Moral of the story, be careful what you wish for. And speak up!
