Waterberg Gateway Aerodrome has been fully operational since March. It is located in Vaalwater on the R33, past Waterberg Academy, and is roughly a 20-minute drive to Welgevonden Game Reserve in Limpopo.

Safari Air Wing South Africa has been selected as the preferred operating agent to the Waterberg Aerodrome, and provides private charters linking Johannesburg to Vaalwater as well as linkages between safari lodges in the Waterberg, Madikwe and the greater Kruger National Park.

The air strip is 1 000m long and is suitable for aircraft accommodating up to nine passengers.
