The government of Ethiopia will soon start construction of a new cultural centre and hotel, Mesob Tower Hotel and Tourism, in Addis Ababa.
A date for the start of construction has yet to be confirmed, but Director of Ethiopia’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism Communication Affairs, Endegena Desalegn, said the project would be implemented as a public/private partnership scheme.
According to Desalegn, Mesob Tower Hotel and Tourism will be a 250-metre skyscraper which will serve as a tourism attraction and become the city’s main meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions centre.
