New website for Singita

Singita has announced the launch of its new website, part of its new digital strategy. 


Crafted by Wallop, Vancouver-based specialists in luxury hotel website design, the site will act as a hub for the company’s room availability and feature spectacular visual content. 


The site was the culmination of an innovative and creative digital strategy developed over the past two years and marked a new era for its online presence, Singita said in a statement. 


“The progressive design and choice of a WordPress platform is the result of extensive research of both global trends in hotel and travel design, as well as a thorough surveying of Singita’s customer base,” continued the statement. 


The website has been designed with tablets and mobile phones in mind and will adjust seamlessly to any screen or device. 


It includes extensive videos and photographs of the Singita lodge and camp experience, wildlife and safari, as well as media produced by guides, guests, and staff.  The site also assimilates the brand’s various social media platforms (YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook) with blog entries, and e-news campaigns to provide unparalleled, up-to-the-minute wildlife reports and camp updates.


Singita plans to expand on its new digital strategy with the addition of a password-protected micro-site to serve travel partners with updated and downloadable rates, fact sheets and videos.
