The consensus among readers is that the steep tariff hikes in Pilanesberg and Madikwe, among other parks in North West Province, ostensibly needed to fund infrastructure repair and maintenance costs, are unjustified.

In our last poll of the year, 65% of respondents said the tariff hikes are not justified while 15% support them. The remaining 20% are “unsure”.
