LEVA Hotels, a Dubai-based hotel brand, has signed a management agreement with Radar Properties to develop a US$1 billion lifestyle hotel within the 2 100 hectare mixed-use development in Kings City, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The development serves as a gateway to Victoria Falls, Hwange and the Matobo Hills.
The 120-key, four-star hotel will feature guest rooms and serviced hotel residences, catering for short and long-term stays. It is targeted at business and leisure travellers and includes a restaurant, fitness centre, spa and conferencing hall.
The development is the brand’s fourth signed project in Zimbabwe. “Following our recent entry into Harare, this greenfield project in Bulawayo marks an important step in our Southern African expansion,” says JS Anand, Founder and CEO of LEVA Hotels.
