The Fair Trade Tourism (FTT) Board has appointed new MD, Nivashnee Naidoo, from July 1.
Naidoo’s new role combines the previous roles of Executive Director and General Manager.
She recently worked as Operations Manager of the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa and worked for the Tourism Enterprise Partnership as well as Anitha Soni and Associates.
"Nivashnee boasts a 16-year track record in tourism development and is hugely passionate about responsible and Fair Trade Tourism. Her extensive public- and private-sector networks and her knowledge of quality management systems will be a tremendous asset to Fair Trade Tourism," said FTT Acting General Manager, Jane Edge.
Jacques Heath has been appointed new GM of Tsogo Sun’s Southern Sun Hyde Park.
The Capital Hotel Group has made the following appointments: Nelson Rodrigues, new GM at The Capital Moloko; Adrian Willmers, GM at The Capital 20 West; Julian Joubert, GM for both The Capital Villa and The Capital Esprit; and Christine Liebenberg, GM at The Capital Empire.
