Alistair Leuner and Emily Booth have been appointed the General Manager couple at Tintswalo Safari Lodge in the Manyeleti Game Reserve, near the Kruger National Park.
Leuner, as General Manager of Administration, is in charge of the organisational divisions, while Booth oversees all production divisions as General Manager Operations.
Leuner matriculated from King Edward VII school in Johannesburg in 2003, then spent a year in the UK playing and coaching rugby before returning to SA to complete a degree in marketing in 2008, followed by an Honours degree in Logistics, both at the University of Johannesburg. Leuner has completed several courses through the Field Guide Association of South Africa since 2005, including the Level 2 FGASA Full Lead Trails Guide and an Eco Training Game Ranging Course.
He was a Field Guide at Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve, followed by Head Ranger of Earth Lodge and Assistant Lodge Manager and Guide at Selati Camp. He worked for Southern Cross Marketing and Management Services in Stellenbosch from 2012 to 2014.
He worked as a Game Ranger at Tintswalo after returning to the bush and was promoted to Assistant Head Ranger in 2015, General Manager of Operations a year later and now General Manager effective from June 2017.
Booth was born in Cape Town, matriculating from Rustenburg School for Girls in 2004. She then gained work experience in the hospitality industry in the UK and SA before qualifying as a Graphic Designer from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2011. She completed her Masters in 2013 and joined Tintswalo Safari Lodge in 2014.
She started as a Lodge Anchor, covering roles for the Receptionist, Admin Assistant and Camp Manager whenever needed. In 2015 she was promoted to Camp Manager, and has now been appointed joint General Manager.
The Palazzo Montecasino has appointed Linda Reddy as its new General Manager.
Reddy has substantial experience in the hospitality industry, working her way through the ranks after starting in the industry in the late 90s.
Ryan Nicholas has been appointed the new Director of Operations and General Manager for the Garden Route Casino.
Nicholas worked for Montecasino for the last 18 years, followed by a move to the Garden Route Casino.
