Last week we asked if readers thought the price of air tickets was a hindrance to stimulating tourism growth in Southern and East Africa.
An overwhelming majority (78%) of the 162 respondents said ‘yes’, ticket prices were indeed a barrier to tourism recovery. The remaining 22% of votes were split evenly between ‘no’ and ‘maybe’.
