Poll results: The jury is out on lobbying potential

In our latest poll, we asked if readers thought that the recent lobbying efforts would be successful in getting policy-makers in the UK to revise South Africa’s risk level.

From a total of 272 votes, 27% voted ‘yes’, 32% answered ‘no’, and most (40%) said ‘maybe’.

Earlier in the year, there were projections for a tourism recovery by Q4. This was before the third COVID-19 wave, before many countries in the southern and East African region were placed on red lists, and quarantines were implemented in source markets on travellers’ return. We would like to hear from readers what their forward bookings for Q4 look like.
