Last week, Tourism Update checked in with readers to determine the outlook for the rest of the year in terms of industry recovery.
From 98 votes, the overwhelming majority (72%) said ‘yes’, they did expect to see the tourism industry continue on its upward trajectory of recovery in the second half of 2022.
Only 9% said ‘no’, and 18% voted ‘maybe’.
In the new poll, we want to continue actively measuring the industry’s recovery on a monthly basis by asking how members of the tourism industry have weathered the financial storm in April, compared with pre-COVID times.
