#RevivalShowcase: Serengeti Balloon Safaris in Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

Some things are worth getting up early for and this is one of them. You’ll be collected from your camp or lodge before the birds rise and night-drive to the launch site. Your pilot will give you a thorough safety briefing as the crew prepares the balloon for launch.

As you rise into the dawn sky, the full scale of the Serengeti unfolds beneath you and the peace of the early morning descends. Untethered by roads, we’re able to float high over the plains, or descend to gently brush across the grassland seeking the herds of wildebeest or the lion out on a hunt. Just as magical is the chance to enjoy a full breakfast laid out under an acacia tree in the tradition of ‘Out of Africa’ as you relive the memory of a unique flight.

As the first company to set a balloon aloft over the Serengeti, we have set the bar high for an exceptional adventure, delivered with safety at the forefront of our minds, and with our passenger’s experience as a priority. We trained the first Tanzanian balloon pilot and continue to recruit only the most experienced pilots from around the world. From the outset, we’ve established ourselves as partners in conservation, ensuring the sustainability of Tanzania’s wild places. We are adventurers at heart, with a penchant for detail and quality, and with each balloon that flies we know we’re doing something extraordinarily well.
