Sanctuary Retreats will open three additional properties in Tanzania, and one in Kenya.
In Tanzania, Sanctuary Escarpment Luxury Lodge will open on June 1. The lodge is just outside Lake Manyara National Park and will offer 16 private chalets, all with views of the lake. Activities will include game drives in both Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, walking safaris, and local village visits.
Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp has opened in the Ngorongoro National Park, on the crater rim.
There are 12 luxury safari tents, each offering an en-suite bathroom with indoor bucket shower.
Sanctuary Migration Camp is a mobile camp that will move between three locations, following the migration across the Serengeti. It will open in mid-July and offer eight luxury tents, each with an en-suite bathroom, hairdryers and plug points.
In Kenya, Sanctuary Masai Mara Seasonal Camp on the banks of the Mara River, will open from the end of June to the end of October annually for the migration. Guests will be accommodated in nine tents with en-suite bathrooms and traditional bucket showers.
