SINGITA has expanded to East Africa in partnership with Grumeti Reserves, a 140 000 hectare safari destination bordering Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Three lodges have been built in Grumeti Reserves: Sasakwa Hill Lodge, Sabora Plains Tented Camp and the Faru Faru River Lodge. Sasakwa Hill Lodge comprises seven free-standing cottages, three one-bedroom suites, two two-bedroom suites and a three-bedroom suite and a luxury villa with four bedrooms. Sabora Plains Tented Camp comprises six luxury tents and the Faru Faru River Lodge comprises six suites. In addition to game drives and walks, other activities offered at the lodges include; archery, tennis, hot-air ballooning, mountain biking and a jogging track.
