Wild Africa Travel, the new start-up company within Tourvest Destination Management and sister company to Sense of Africa, has launched a new guided tour.
The self-drive Namibia Delight covers country highlights and includes complimentary extras such as a sundowner drive on the Kalahari dunes and a shebeen dinner at Etosha National Park.
Wild Africa Travel targets independent travellers seeking to explore Namibia on a self-drive basis, or on scheduled tours and fly-ins. Its portfolio includes ad hoc accommodation; transfers and activities; car rental, and wide-ranging, guaranteed departure safaris.
Sense of Africa has also launched three new itineraries that offer access to some off-the beaten track locations and appeal to adventurous travellers.
The tours are:
•The Four Desert Adventure scheduled tour, which shows off spectacular landscapes and has participants overnighting in unusual spots such as granite outcrops at Fish River Canyon or petrified dunes in the Namib.
•The Kaokoland Supreme, a premium tour that ventures deep into the lunar landscapes of the Kaokoland to track rare desert elephant and experience Himba culture.
•The African Wonders fly-in safari highlights the natural marvels of Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. It encompasses the Etosha and Chobe National Parks, the Caprivi Strip, the Victoria Falls and the Okavango Delta.
