FIT/Groups Inbound Tour Consultant

Our client, a leader in Tours and Safaris across Southern Africa, is seeking a friendly, energetic, and driven Inbound Tour Consultant (Intermediate/Senior) to join their vibrant team. This role focuses on handling international inbound enquiries, designing tailor-made itineraries, and providing exceptional service to overseas operators.

Key Responsibilities
• Itinerary Design: Create and quote tailor-made itineraries for FITs and ad hoc groups, including online agent platforms.
• Client Management: Manage bookings from "cradle-to-grave" with meticulous attention to detail and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Sales & Negotiation: Apply strong sales techniques to convert leads and negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure the best value.
• Supplier Engagement: Engage with Southern African suppliers to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Operational Excellence: Provide professional communication and participate in the rotational after-hours duty phone schedule.
Requirements
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of strictly Inbound Tour Operations/DMC experience (Travel/Flight Agency experience will not be considered).
• Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Southern African destinations and experience working with UK/Europe markets.
• Technical Skills: Proven experience in quoting and processing FITs, Groups, and tour series.
