AIR Namibia will operate its Frankfurt-Windhoek route five times a week from January 18, 2008.
It will fly from Frankfurt to Windhoek on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and from Windhoek to Frankfurt on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
In order to offer the additional flight, Air Namibia has had to reduce its London Gatwick-Windhoek route to twice a week, instead of three times a week. The flights from London Gatwick to Windhoek will be on Wednesdays and Fridays with the return flights on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Hellena Kapiya-Nathinge, marketing executive for Air Namibia, said: “The demand for seats on flights between Windhoek and London has gradually been decreasing in the past two years. Simultaneously, the demand for seats on Frankfurt flights has been increasing.”
