Qatar Airways is expected to launch flights to Vic Falls International Airport.
While the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe has not received any official information from the airline regarding the timeline of the flights, Ronnie Masawi, Airport Manager at Victoria Falls Airport said he is hopeful flights will be launched sometime next year.
Earlier this year, Priscilla Mawire, Acting Director of Victoria Falls Airport said Etihad, Kenya Airways and Emirates had engaged in preliminary discussions to introduce direct flights to Victoria Falls. These airlines have also not yet made contact with the airport, according to Masawi.
