Minister of Wildlife, Environment and Tourism, Tshekedi Khama, has put a stop to plans for the Botswana Tourism Organisation to open an international tourism office in Dubai.
Appearing before the Parliamentary Committee on Statutory Bodies and Enterprises to give the reason why there was no procedural procurement of the deal, Khama said he had been misled by the organisation’s outgoing CEO, Thabo Dithebe.
