Brookdale Estate opens exclusive-use lodge

Brookdale Estate has opened a new exclusive-use property, The Owners’ Lodge at Brookdale Estate. Set against a secluded hill on a 67-hectare wine estate in the Paarl Winelands in the Western Cape, the lodge offers views of vineyards, as well as the Drakenstein Mountains and Paarl Rock.

 It can accommodate up to eight guests in four en-suite bedrooms on an all-inclusive basis. Shared spaces include large terraces, a swimming pool, built-in barbeque and a contemporary kitchen area.

The property operates off-the-grid and was built using repurposed and locally sourced materials. It is surrounded by an indigenous garden that supports local biodiversity and requires minimal irrigation. 

Rates include breakfast, light lunch and dinner, chef and butler service, housekeeping and laundry, as well as premium Brookdale wines and selected beverages. Guests also have access to the Bistro, the Estate’s on-site restaurant serving lunch and dinner.
