Hotel Sky Cape Town has launched the Tree of Hope – a festive community initiative aimed at supporting youth development, emerging artists, sports talent, vulnerable communities and local charities during the holiday season.
A 16 metre structure has been created in partnership with the City of Cape Town, radio station KFM and Cape Town Tourism. The campaign calls on hospitality stakeholders, corporates, attractions, artists and the public to contribute donations and support programmes linked to the initiative.
Ahead of the Unity on the Square Concert on December 16 when Performer Loukmaan Adams will present gifts to selected charities, organisers are encouraging participation through several channels. These include cash donations, pledging a portion of festive season sales, offering bursaries or skills development support and donating food, clothing and essential items.
Donations can be delivered to Hotel Sky Cape Town at 9 Lower Long Street, Cape Town. Pledges can be made via Sales and Marketing Director Inge Dykman at idykman@hotelsky.co.za or +27 (0)73 551 9436.
