Durban beaches closed to swimmers

Certain Durban beaches are off limits to swimmers at present with the advent of increased shark activity along the coastline as a result of the annual sardine run.


While certain beaches were re-opened during the course of the day yesterday, swimmers are advised to contact local authorities before heading to the beaches to ensure they will be allowed into the water.
