Free WiFi is available to the public at Sea Point Pavilion in Cape Town.
The service, which went live on November 11, is part of the Cape Town Free Public WiFi project and follows similar projects in the city’s Company’s Gardens and Harrington Square.
The service is the result of collaboration between Pavilion tenants Up Cycles Bicycle Rental, The Friends of the Sea Point Pavilion and WiFi provider, Connected Space. The service is co-sponsored by organic products range, Dr Organic.
Users will be alerted to the WiFi through signage and a support line has been set up to provide assistance.
The Cape Town Free Public WiFi project has been recognised as part of the World Design Capital 2014 programme.
