Required Qualifications:

• Must have at least 8 years’ experience as a Travel Consultant or similar role
• Proficiency in English
• Good people skills
• Good computer skills (preferably MAC but not necessary)
• Able to use quotation and reservation tools like WETU & TourPlan
• Has experience in local travel
• Customer oriented mindset
• Critical thinker and problem solver, able to handle unforeseen problems
• Organising travel from beginning to end, including tickets, accommodation and transportation
• Supplying travellers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday materials
• Be able to handle ticket changes, cancellations, and refunds related to air travel
• Be able to advise on visa and entry requirements where applicable
• Collect deposits and balances
• Focus on air travel including ticket changes as well as cancellations and refunds
• Maintain relationships with key persons
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills, must be able to work as an individual and be part of a team
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated

Description:

We are looking for a Senior Safari Curator to join our team! You will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing high-quality travel experiences and itineraries for inbound travellers. The the role involves sourcing unique products, curating culturally immersive tours, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring all offerings align with the company’s brand and service standards. We require you to have a great enthusiasm for traveling and be available to start 1 August 2025.
