The Golden Horse Hotel in Pietermaritzburg will be rebranded as a Southern Sun hotel from September 1 following the acquisition of the hotel by Tsogo Sun in May.
As part of the rebranding, the hotel will undergo refurbishments, including the completion of a casual dining restaurant and coffee shop, the installation of free WiFi, a new guest business centre, and a new entrance as well as room renovations and minor changes to the conference centre. Each room will be equipped with a mini bar fridge, a safe and complimentary tea/coffee-making facilities.
The hotel will be marketed under Tsogo Sun’s Sun Burst brand, giving guests access to the group’s Frequent Guest programme and the ability to earn and spend Sun Rands.
