Anew Hotels launched two properties in KwaZulu Natal on July 1 – Anew Hotel Hluhluwe and Safaris in the Hluhluwe Game Reserve, and Anew Hotel Ingeli Forest and Spa, near Kokstad.
Anew Hotel Hluhluwe and Safaris, formerly Protea Hotel Hluhluwe and Safaris, has made numerous changes to the public areas, including the reception, pool bar, restaurant, pool lounge. An additional conference room was also added.
The hotel is in the process of adding two self-catering rondavels that will sleep up to four people, as well as renovating the self-catering Safari Thatched Lodge, which sleeps up to six people. These rooms will be available for bookings from October 1.
Anew Hotel Ingeli Forest and Spa, formerly Ingeli Forest Resort, has had several upgrades and refurbishments. All 44 rooms now have ceiling fans and international plug points with a USB port. Each room has new beds, linen and décor and a patio.
A heated splash pool has been added to the pool area, the kids’ playroom includes a kids' dining area and there is an on-site Seruga Spa.
