AFRICAN Dimension Shuttle Services and Syavaya Tours and Travel won the tender to operate the Indaba 2006 shuttle service. Both companies are black economic empowerment companies, and African Dimension Shuttle Services was one of the 2005 Emerging Tourism Entrepreneur of the Year Award (ETEYA) finalists. The two companies will be required to shuttle close to 5 000 Indaba delegates from Durban International Airport to their hotels (in the centre of the city and on both the north and south coasts), to the ICC each day and to special Indaba events such as the golf day, the opening beach party and the street party.
