Expansion of The Makokola Retreat, on the shores of Lake Malawi, will be completed by December 2026.
This includes the addition of 21 luxury family-style suites designed to combine modern elegance with the property’s natural lakeside setting. The new wing will cater to families and groups seeking a refined yet relaxed retreat.
Several of the resort’s key facilities will also be upgraded, including a fully renovated swimming pool with new lounging areas and a revamped coffee lounge offering refreshed interiors and a space to enjoy locally inspired flavours.
