Everyone has done it-arrived late for a flight and had to find an excuse for being late. Some people take this excuse making to a new level. Here are some of the funniest excuses according to AOL:
- Feeding all the dogs… cats and budgies… A man flying from Manchester Airport to Italy claimed he had to feed his 17 cats, five dogs and his two budgies… Then he had to give the neighbour all the care instructions before getting to the airport.
- “I set my watch to Brazil time.” A woman flying to Brazil from Heathrow Airport claimed she had put her watch back two hours to Brazil time in preparation for her trip, and arrived just in time for her flight… Not the recommended two hours before hand.
- When in doubt, blame the wife. A man flying from Exeter to Prague claimed his wife had to repack their luggage seven times before she was sure they hadn’t forgotten anything.
Now there are more excuses to use for running late. Just in case.
