According to a report from the Mozambique News Agency, the mayor of Pemba, capital of the northern province of Cabo Delgado, Florete Simba, on Wednesday closed the city's major tourist attraction, Wimbe Beach, as part of the measures to restrict the spread of the coronavirus that causes the Covid-19 respiratory disease.
