Bush Ways Botswana will open Mababe Tented Camp this month (April 2026). The property is set on the banks of the Khwai River in the Mababe private concession and will open seasonally from April to December.
Mababe Tented Camp will comprise eight Meru-style tents accommodating a maximum of 16 guests. Each is positioned along the riverfront and features an en-suite bathroom with indoor shower with comforts such as fans and hot water bottles.
The main area includes a tented lounge and dining space with WiFi.
The landscape comprises floodplains, riverine forests and open grasslands and is home to large elephant herds, lion, leopard and abundant birdlife. Activities include game drives and mokoro excursions.
