Cape Cadogan appoints new GM
Andrew Nicholson has been appointed General Manager of Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel and Upper Union Restaurant, which are both part of the MORE Collection portfolio.
Nicholson has more than 15 years of hospitality experience and most recently served as Food and Beverage Manager for Singita Group where he oversaw food, beverage and service training across the group’s African properties.
Newmark Hotels & Reserves announces new Group Commercial Director
Ryan Roach has returned to Newmark Hotels & Reserves as Group Commercial Director. His experience includes roles at Protea Hotels, Radisson, Hilton, MSC Cruises South Africa and Explora Journeys.
Roach will oversee commercial strategy across Newmark’s portfolio with focus on revenue growth, market expansion and performance optimisation.
“My priority is to build a true commercial culture across the business,” said Roach. “One that is underpinned by clear strategy, supported by the right systems and skills and aligned across all teams to ensure sustainable, profitable growth.”
