The Protea Hotels group has shown South Africa’s pride in its national soccer squad, Bafana Bafana, by giving the team a gift worth more than R100 000.
Protea Hotels has given every member of the Bafana Bafana squad – both players and support staff – vouchers to spend a weekend at a Protea Hotel of their choice when the World Cup finishes next month.
The vouchers will allow the squad to take their partners away for a two-night break and will be pampered in line with Protea Hotels’ motto of “whatever you want, whoever you are”.
“The Bafana Bafana team are national heroes. They have played their hearts out in this tournament and no matter what the result, they have done this country proud,” said Protea Hospitality Group CEO, Arthur Gillis.
