Qatar Airways expands Southern African network

Qatar Airways is expanding its services in Southern Africa and across the continent.

Qatar Airways will introduce four flights a week between Doha and Windhoek, beginning on September 28; and a non-stop service, three times a week from Doha to Lusaka, which will begin by summer 2017.

Qatar Airways’ Group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker, announced a network expansion of 14 new destinations at a press conference on the opening day of ITB Berlin.

The airline also operates flights to Durban, Johannesburg, Dar es Salaam, Cape Town, Kilimanjaro, Nairobi and Maputo.
